Some of your students will use Penmob for peer writing feedback a lot, while others will use it only occasionally. If a student doesn't use Penmob for a month because they drop a class, don't have an assignment due, or for any other reason, you won't be charged.
An “active” user account is any student or staff that submits writing for feedback or participates in giving feedback to others.
The flat monthly fee helps cover Penmob's operational costs, which exist whether or not students are active during a given month.
